When selling a product any product the best sales people have great clientele. The greatest sales people have a big "Black Book". This black book is a list of people who have bought from them in the past, people who are still current customers and potential buyers.

This same concept works for online marketing to. Collect Email addresses like you collected thos Pokemon cards of yours back in the day. Collecting this information can be a measurement of how much you will make online. One hundred emails should land you at least one sale, this is a good reference to why you need to have so many people in your database.
